Plain-language notice
Last updated July 29, 2026. This is a concise project notice for an app in active development; it should be expanded and reviewed before a public release.
ClioVision may request microphone and speech-recognition permission for voice questions, location permission for walking-tour and arrival features, Bluetooth/audio access for connected wearables, and a private pairing code to establish a device session.
These permissions are used to capture a question you initiate, provide a campus response, present tour progress, determine when you are near a stop, and route audio to the output you select.
You can decline or revoke microphone, speech, location, Bluetooth, and notification permissions through iOS settings. Some app functions will not work without their relevant permissions. You can also disconnect a paired device from the app.
The website itself does not include an account system. If you use the interest form, you provide information directly through Google Forms; Google’s own privacy terms also apply to that submission.
The pilot is not intended for emergencies, safety-critical navigation, or sensitive personal questions. Do not include passwords, financial information, health information, or other sensitive data in questions.
ClioVision will publish fuller retention, deletion, provider, and contact details before a broader public launch. Until then, use the pilot only if you are comfortable with its development-stage status.
